Tips for getting started on Neocities
The Web is still there. The Web never left.
- Look at a lot of different sites! Find inspiration in what others have made!
- Don't try to start from zero! Use a template!
- Something like Zonelets or one of Repth's or sadgrl's themes!
- Not everyone is good at building HTML and CSS from the ground up!
- See a site you like? Rip it! Copying is a form of love.
- I recommend HTTrack!
- Just be sure to make your site your own!
- Make trash!
- Ain't everything gotta be perfect and pretty. It's just a website.
